Because Adam Carriker is out with an ankle injury, tackle Gary Gibson has been promoted to the No. 1 defense and will see his first action with his third NFL team in Friday night's preseason opener vs. the Jets at the Meadowlands. I hope he can come in and play good, because Carriker is a bust anyway, I hope somebody step in and do a great job and take that job away from him, because he is unreliable anyway
