St. Louis Rams left tackle Rodger Saffold has been placed on season-ending injured reserve after suffering a chest injury while lifting weights on Friday. The 33rd overall pick of the 2010 NFL Draft out of Indiana, Saffold had started 25 consecutive games prior to his injury. Replacing Saffold on the 53-man roster is Kevin Hughes, an undrafted rookie offensive lineman from Southeastern Louisiana who has been on the team's practice squad since the start of the regular season.
