Adam Schefter reported on ESPN's NFL Live that the general feeling around St. Louis is that Sam Bradford will be starting by Week 3 or 4 this season. A.J. Feeley has been getting the first-team reps with the Rams' offense so far, though we'd expect Bradford to start getting worked more into the equation over the next few weeks. Bradford could have a chance to start by Week 1 if he has a strong preseason. Source: Rototimes.com
I'm confused as to why the Rams would put information like this out. Why focus in on a week rather then saying sometime next season?
I don't think they did "put it out." The "general feeling" just means that people in the organization have a feeling that he'll start around week three or four after Feeley or whoever's starting fails miserably the first couple weeks. I think this title needs a quesion mark.
yep, some qb's have succeeded starting right away but, generally, there is a higher success rate letting someone sit and learn for a year or so .................
