The Rams will wear a commemorative helmet decal this season to honor Hall of Fame defensive end Deacon Jones, who passed away in June. The decal will feature the team’s Rams head-and-horns logo on top of Jones’ jersey No. 75. Several members of Jones’ family will be recognized on the field during the Rams’ Sept. 8 season opener against the Arizona Cardinals at the Edward Jones Dome. Arguably the greatest pass-rusher in NFL history, Jones played for the Los Angeles Rams from 1961-71. He coined the term “quarterback sack†during his playing career. Source: St. Louis Post-Dispatch
