St. Louis Rams wide receiver Austin Pettis has been suspended four games for violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing drugs, Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports. A 2011 third-round pick out of Boise State, Pettis was inactive the first two weeks of the season, but has 27 receptions for 256 yards in the 12 games since. Pettis is also averaged 9.3 yards on 15 punt returns and 20.7 yards on three kick returns. With two games remaining in the 2011 regular season, Pettis' suspension will carry over to the first two games of the 2012 season.
