St. Louis Rams wide receiver Danario Alexander "hobbled off" the field during today's practice after landing awkwardly on his left knee, the team's official Twitter account reported on Friday. Alexander (6-5, 215) has undergone multiple surgeries on his left knee, which was the only reason the immensely talented rookie from Missouri went undrafted in April. The Rams signed Alexander in August, and added him to their practice squad in September. Signed to a four-year, $1.8 million contract by the Rams earlier this month, Alexander caught 4 passes for 72 yards and a touchdown in his NFL debut.
