Rams WR Mark Clayton Confirms Knee Injury Is Season-Ending

    Jim Thomas of the St Louis Post-Dispatch reports via twitter that Rams wide receiver Mark Clayton confirms his knee injury is season-ending. Brian Stull of 101 ESPN St. Louis reports that it may be a patellar tendon tear. Clayton was carted off the field while running a sideline route during the first quarter against the Detroit Lions. Clayton would likely require reconstructive knee surgery.
