Randy Hanson, the defensive assistant who was treated for a broken jaw after an incident with head coach Tom Cable in August, has returned to work with the Oakland Raiders. Hanson is not back with the team in a coaching capacity. He is now working in the team's personnel department. Napa County district attorney Gary Lieberstein said in October that he would not pursue charges against Cable, citing inconsistencies in Hanson's story that were not corroborated by the three assistant coaches in the room at the time Hanson was injured.
