Rare fumble for Maurice Jones-Drew, who now enters free agency, destination unknown

    INDIANAPOLIS — Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew normally gives the offense momentum.

    He helped take it away early in Sunday’s 30-10 loss to the Indianapolis Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium.

    Jones-Drew lost a fumble on the third play of the game, possibly his last with the Jaguars as he enters free agency. The turnover led to a Colts touchdown.

    “When you have turnovers, especially at the start of the game, your back is against the wall,” Jaguars coach Gus Bradley said. “We needed to stand up in those opportunities and didn’t.”
