Ravens CB Domonique Foxworth is out for the season after tearing his ACL in Thursday's practice. The news comes as a devastating blow to a Ravens secondary that already has corners Fabian Washington and Lardarius Webb returning from ACL surgeries of their own while All-Pro Ed Reed is in danger of missing the first six weeks of the season. While no team deserves this much bad luck at one position, GM Ozzie Newsome was questioned this offseason for his failure to adequately address cornerback depth. The deteriorating secondary could lead to more pass attempts for Joe Flacco this season. Source: NBC Sports
This might mean the return of Frank Walker. I think we should consider converting Nakamura or someone to corner. We have to also test the trade waters.
Yea def. time for Oz to get on the phones, problem is nobody is gonna make it is easy. Just looking at what we have im optismistic that Washington can be at least an adequate starter. If Walt Harris can return to form he was a pretty good starter in San Fran, Carr played well in the nickel after the bye last year, hopefully Webb comes back strong, but we are def. gonna have to find some help.
9th best pass defense last year with probably the worst pass rush in team history last year. I dont think thats nearly the question mark people have tried to make it out to be, but its def. a concern now.
Damn, gotta feel for dude... hates seeing player go out like this... Twitter / Domonique Foxworth: There's nothing worse than ...
Weakest part of the team got weaker. They need to make a trade. DeShea Townsend is out there...lol...
