Ravens coach John Harbaugh addressed on Tuesday rumors linking his team to Broncos receiver Brandon Marshall. Harbaugh said that the Ravens have not yet contacted the Broncos regarding Marshall. "We're interested in anybody that can help our team," Harbaugh said. "[Marshall] plays for the Broncos and he's under contract. He's not a guy that we're concerned with right now." Whether the Ravens become interested remains to be seen, especially in light of Harbaugh's comments regarding players with off-field issues. "Their background matters," Harbaugh said. "Any player we bring in is going to be a man of integrity and will be someone who is going to be respected in the locker room. We're never going to compromise on that."

I think an exception could be made for an onfield stand-out like Marshall especially when we have a locker room containing Ray Lewis & Derrick Mason - one would think if anybody in the league were going to be able to reach Marshall it would be those two.

no thanks, I like the fact that the Ravens keep a clean house, I think the recieving core will be fine this year, if any Ravens fans remember this time last year the big talk was Quarterback and O line, look how that turned out. I've said this before, WO is a position that takes 2-3 seasons to develop. The Ravens have some guys that I think are ready to contribute this season.

Yeah as Baltimore fans we have been blessed with a lack of locker room bullcrap (Suggs' outside the locker room bullcrap was in keeping with the spirit of the team). And I agree Davy that WR is a position that seems to need 2-3 years development but I also think it would be a damned shame to again ask Derrick Mason to shoulder the load and tell Joe Flacco to keep the passes underneath if Clayton & Williams can't up there game - Joe proved last season that he deserves a top flight WR and I'm not sure that our locker room has one- but Flacco to Marshall could be special.
