Ravens LB Tavares Gooden has become the front-runner to take over Bart Scott's starting job with his offseason performance. The 2008 third-round pick shows no signs of having hip surgery last season. He might not have the same physical presence as Scott, but he is much, much quicker.

I was pretty sold McClain after his 1.5 safties last season but I've heard Gooden's got some game, and yeah the Miami thing wouldn't hurt either.

When Ray is done he will coach. It is in his blood to be competitive. Coaching is more suitable to him than the TV I have seen him do. LOL. Hopefully Tarvaris makes the transition to the next level with #52's guidance.

i hate ray but i hear he and gooden are close and will room together in training camp again. i also hear that gooden is incredibly fast to the ball and is getting better in coverage, mcclain will be rushing the edges again this year, we won't see much of the rookie kruger, word is that they want him to get bigger/stronger, of course jj will be holding down the the lolb spot, not so sure scott will be missed much unless someone goes down
