Baltimore Ravens offensive tackle Jared Gaither is expected to miss his third consecutive game Sunday against the Cleveland Browns due to a thoracic disc injury. Gaither injured his back during training camp and was carted off the field with back spasms. A California back specialist told Gaither midway through the preseason that he would be out at least another six weeks. Now, he remains sidelined and not practicing. “It’s just been tough for us, been tough on him,†Ravens coach John Harbaugh said tonight during his weekly radio show. “Was supposed to be, at the most, a two to six-week deal, I understood it. Some six weeks is coming up this Wednesday as far as the outside track for this injury to heal. I guess he’s doing a little bit better, but I don’t anticipate him getting ready to play this week. "So, we’re not exactly sure what’s causing it. We’ll probably have to get another opinion here. I know he’s working very hard to get back. He’s good about that. We got our fingers crossed for it, but we’re not exactly sure where it’s at right now.â€
