Baltimore Ravens backup offensive tackle Oniel Cousins was activated from the non-football illness list today and rejoined his teammates at practice for the first time since this spring. Cousins had a noncancerous cyst removed from his esophagus during the offseason where an incision was made in the right side of his chest to take out the growth in his throat. "Definitely, I'm excited," Cousins said "I'm just working my way back in and trying to do my best every day. It's coming around. My throat is feeling good, my esophagus. I had a cyst on my esophagus I had to get it removed. I was in the hospital for three or four days. It went great. I'm feeling better and better every day." Cousins said he feels blessed that the cyst wasn't a byproduct of cancer. Source: National Football Post
