Ravens Plan To Release NT Kelly Gregg

    Aaron Wilson of the Carroll County Times reports the Ravens have informed nose tackle Kelly Gregg that he will be released on Thursday. The move was made to clear $3.5 million in salary, but Jamison Hensley of the Baltimore Sun speculates that Gregg could re-sign for a one- or two-year deal worth $1-2 million this season. The Ravens definitely want him back for a rotational role. Now 34, Gregg is going to lose his starting job to Terrence Cody.

    I wish the 49ers would take a look at him. Gregg has always been underrated.
