Ravens QB Troy Smith Works Out At WR

Aaron Wilson of Profootballtalk.com reports via his Twitter page that Ravens QB "Troy Smith played WR today and caught a few long passes, looked pretty natural. Considers himself to be a QB first and foremost."

Gotta love the double threat.

I wonder if he will get a TD catch like Thigpen.

 

Adds more value for him personally and another dimension to our offense

 

He isn't that fast. Lining him up on the outside in traditional pass plays is a bad idea but could work well with some shenanigan plays.

 

This could be a pretty sweet wrinkle down the road.
