The Baltimore Ravens announced that they have officially signed free agent cornerback Walt Harris, after the 35-year old passed his physical. Financial terms of the deal, which was originally agreed to on June 24, were not disclosed. A first-round pick (13th overall) out of Mississippi State by the Chicago Bears in the 1996 NFL Draft, Harris has 35 career interceptions in a 14-year career that has also included stints with the Indianapolis Colts, Washington Redskins, and San Francisco 49ers, where Harris has spent the previous four seasons. Harris made his lone trip to a Pro Bowl in 2006, his first season with the 49ers. Harris missed the entire 2009 season with a torn ACL, and was one of three veteran defensive backs to work out for the Ravens recently. Source: macsfootballblog.com
