The Baltimore Ravens made it official, signing veteran cornerback Travis Fisher and undrafted rookie safety Brad Jones following succcessful tryouts at a recent minicamp. The additions should bolster two positions that are thin due to cornerbacks Lardarius Webb and Fabian Washington recovering from knee surgeries and safeties Ed Reed and Haruki Nakamura on the mend from hip surgery and ankle surgery, respectively. In an interview, Fisher had previously indicated that he was was going to be signed. And National Football Post reported Sunday that Jones had agreed to terms. Fisher is a former St. Louis Rams second-round draft pick who impressed Ravens coach John Harbaugh during the Ravens' full-team minicamp.
