As the Ravens begin their passing camp Monday, Demetrius Williams is looking to duplicate his strong showing in the team’s first minicamp last week. Williams, the No. 4 wide receiver last season, continually made big catches downfield and stood out in the team’s upgraded passing attack. “He’s had a good offseason,†coach John Harbaugh said. “He’s really worked hard. He’s got some legitimate weight underneath him right now. He’s getting better. Now this is probably the first offseason he’s really been truly healthy. So, he’s made some progress.†It was surprising that the Ravens tendered a contract to Williams as a restricted free agent based on his performance last season. He didn’t endear himself to the coaching staff when he extended just one arm for a fourth-down pass in the playoff loss at Indianapolis.
