The Eagles and the Pro Bowl running back LeSean McCoy have been in negotiations since the end of the season and could have a deal hammered out soon, according to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer who cites an NFL source. McCoy has one more year left on the four-year contract he signed when he was drafted in the second round of the 2009 draft. But the Eagles want to extend McCoy and avoid last season's debacle when Jackson held out from training camp and allowed his contract situation to become a distraction during the season. If the Eagles don't get a deal done with McCoy they risk the possibility of the 23-year-old holding out. Source: The Redzone
