yep, i will laugh if anyone gives him much more than a short-term deal at about $3 or $4 mill/yr. i think he and his agent really screwed up since he was due to make several million dollars just to suit up 1 more season in st. louis.
he can't seriously believe he's worth a.p. or c.j. money at this point in his career, can he? i will laugh my butt off if a team pays him like that.
jackson was just on svp an hour ago and i'm beginning to think jackson just really wanted to leave st. louis, regardless of the money. he seemed pretty sincere when talking about how much it bothers him to have never played on a winning team. he was very adamant, though, that he won't be part of a backfield-by-committee approach. after jackson laid everything out that he was looking for, svp said, "so, basically, you want to play for the packers......"
He will end up in green bay and if he plays like he did his first few years in st louis,they will be playing the 49ers for the nfc championship next season.
