Washington Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan is calling the latest reports of turmoil involving second-year quarterback Robert Griffin III “absolutely untrue.â€￾

Shanahan, who spoke with 106.7 The Fan’s Grant Paulsen Sunday morning from his office inside Redskins Park, was surprised to hear of the report by Ian Rapoport and Mike Silver of the NFL Network that Griffin asked coaches not to show his bad plays in meetings and has expressed his dissatisfaction with Shanahan to teammates.

SteveRobWhatever's Take: NFL Network has not been on the ball of late with some of their 'insider' reports. We had the report of Ben Roethlisberger wanting a trade a couple weeks back and now this. Someone needs to round up their insiders and remind them to run with stories they have more facts on.
