Redskins DT Albert Haynesworth To Jets?

With the news on Tuesday that NT Kris Jenkins is out with a season-ending knee injury, some connected the dots between the Jets and interest in Albert Haynesworth. Judging by our initial reports, that’s not the case and that’s not a surprise. NFL Network inside Jason La Canfora checked in on the subject on Tuesday, calling it doubtful, actually, La Canfora said he’d be both “surprised†and “shocked.†So that’s comfortably being categorized as doubtful, for now. Looking at compensation, it’s widely believed the Redskins have been seeking a second-round pick in return for Haynesworth but La Canfora believes the Redskins won’t get more than a fourth- or fifth-round pick for the two-time first-team All Pro.

Sounds to me like the Jets are starting to grip. I think it might happen,Jets see themselves as the crap..and Fat Albert as the stinky nugget in the middle to clog up the middle.

 

I hope they wait till after we play the jets b4 they do this
