General Manager Bruce Allen remains hopeful that defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth can still be a productive member of the Redskins. The only thing that Haynesworth could possibly still contribute for the Redskins is a potential draft pick they could get for trading him. They can release players without a new CBA I believe but they can't trade players....only draft picks.
