Washington Redskins offensive tackle Chris Samuels released a statement Friday countering an earlier report that said he was going to retire. Samuels, the Redskins starting left tackle since 2000 and six-time Pro Bowl selection, suffered a stinger two weeks ago against Carolina and had to leave the game. A report said he was expected to announce his retirement shortly, but Samuels said he would not make a decision any time soon. "I will continue to seek medical advice. I hope to see where I am physically over the next couple months," Samuels said. "At this time, I have not made a decision, but I love playing for the Redskins and hope to be back." Source: KCStar
