Quarterback Kirk Cousins expects to participate fully in the Redskins’ practices this week. Cousins sat out the final two preseason games after suffering a mid-foot sprain in his right foot. But he said after Thursday’s preseason finale at Tampa that he intends to practice without restrictions leading up to the season opener Sept. 9 against the Philadelphia Eagles at FedEx Field. “Yeah, I should be fine,†Cousins said in Tampa. Robert Griffin III is expected to start against the Eagles after being withheld from the entire preseason while working his way back from knee surgery in January.
