According to Mike Silver of NFL Network, Robert Griffin III reportedly asked coaches not to show his negative plays during film sessions like when he was in college. Silver reported that "at Baylor they didn't put RG3's bad plays up on the board in the meeting rooms. Sources familiar with the situation say they've asked the Redskins to do the same but they've refused to this point." Silver also reported that "inside the building when you talk to people familiar with this situation they perceive RG3 as kind of insecure especially about Kirk Cousins." Isn't the point of those sessions to learn from your mistakes and improve? The bloom has fallen off the rose for RG3 this year, and this story doesn't help in the court of public opinion. The Redskins need to string some wins together to make the bad press go away.
I am not surprised they did it at college, you'd be shocked how much star players get coddled. I also am not shocked a prima donna who doesn't know better asked for this. It's been S.O.P. for him since Baylor, he's just thinking he's going to be babied in the NFL too. It's time to grow up Bob.
