Mark Maske and Mike Jones of the Washington Post reports that Redskins QB Robert Griffin III‘s MRI revealed that he has “partial tears†to his ACL and LCL. The report adds that it remains unclear whether or not Griffin will need surgery and there’s no timetable for his recovery at this point in time. A source did say that Griffin may need to undergo “exploratory surgery to determine the extent of the damage and whether the injuries are new.†Griffin and the Redskins are obviously hoping to avoid a reconstructive surgery, but they’ll have to see where things stand on Tuesday before knowing anything definitive. There’s a chance that he could have older injuries to his knee. Source: NFLTrade Rumors

rg3 is going to have injury issues throughout his career if the skins dont dump this college scheme crap.
That college scheme worked so good, several other teams started running variations of it! they just need to make sure he does'nt get hit as many times like he has this past season. He beat the eagles this last time with his arm,not his leg so he's pretty good without the running scheme.
RG3 got smacked soooo many times this season though dude QB pads simply do not have what it takes to get hit like he did this past season. If he keeps up this way he will have a very short career.
They need to find a way to let him run in situations like 3rd downs or 4th downs, with in the 10 yard line to the end zone and during the two minute warnings. If he can do that,he should be able to play a lot longer than he is on pace to right now.
the wildcat worked good at first too. where's that at now ? running your qb around like that and making him a rb in the nfl is a recipie for disaster. this is now rg3's 2nd major injury to this knee. do you allow him to run once in a while ? sure why not but that's a hell of a lot different then a designed offensive gameplan based on your franchise qb being a 2nd rb. i hate rg3 as an opposing fan but i like him as a football fan. this kid can win with his arm. let him do it.
So are the Browns still goobered for not giving up Everyhing Washingon did to get him? This was one of my points against it even after seeing his success this year.
considering the way he turned the skins around, they are just flat out stupid for not moving up to get him.but then again they are the clevland browns so it was not shocking they did'nt move up to get the best.
