The daily Robert Griffin III injury updates are over. Now we can start talking about how the Washington Redskins quarterback will actually look on the field. Players rarely return from a torn ACL as good as new right away. Even Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson's snaps were reduced to start last season. Quarterbacks like Tom Brady of the New England Patriots and Carson Palmer of the Arizona Cardinals didn't look as comfortable after their injuries, often struggling to step up in the pocket. Griffin says he isn't worried about taking contact after nearly eight months off. "You don't really worry about it. I don't think anybody prepares to get hit. It just happens. That's football," Griffin told Philadelphia reporters on a conference call, via ESPN.com. Source: NFL.com
Agreed, once he gets hit for real in a game he'll be running naturally. If getting hurt again is in the back of his mind on every play, he'll tense up and then he will get hurt again, or not lol.
He may no be worried but he should be. I feel like RGIII's ego will push him to not avoid taking hits and its only a matter of time before he will be out with another injury. His ego is out of control.
i mean am i the only one that sees him tearing up his knee again, if not this year, but again soon? a lot of guys can throw a ball and run. he hasnt completed a full season yet.
