The Redskins have held up very well in pass protection this season, despite statistics that would suggest they have allowed quite a few yards this season. The team has five interceptions and has allowed only one pass play of more than 40 yards on a blown coverage assignment by SS Reed Doughty, who has been replaced by rookie Chris Horton despite playing three of the best passing offenses in the NFL in the Saints, Cardinals and Cowboys. The Redskins have been able to use CB Shawn Springs in press coverage against the opposing teams best receiver, giving fellow CBs Carlos Rogers and Fred Smoot safety help over the top.

I don't think the Skins have the best talent in the league but it's a solid unit with reasonable depth. First off, they all tackle really well, especially Springs. Second, it has a good blend of youth and experience - Springs and Smoot have being around the block, Rogers has 4 years down now, even Leigh Torrence has being on the roster three years and the scheme has remained the same in that time (Blanche hasn't change much from Williams except he doesn't come with as much smoke and mirror blitz packages). Landry at safety is not making many big plays but he is playing over the top perfectly and not letting people behind him whilst Chris Horton has being a very pleasant surprise.

If they got some help off the pass rush.....

Jason Campbell struggled early in his career, now he looks like Peyton Manning in that offense.

I wouldn't quite go that far but hes taking huge strides and the key thing is that hes not turning the ball over.
