The Redskins and Cowboys are heated division rivals, so it should come as no surprise that Washington players root for Dallas to lose, and vice versa. Still, it’s always a little surprising when one player calls out another, as Redskins tight end Chris Cooley did on a D.C. radio station. Cooley, who appears weekly on a show co-hosted by ex-NFL player Lavar Arrington, blasted Romo for his Week 4 meltdown against the Lions — Dallas let a 27-3 lead slip away in the second half and lost 34-30, with Romo throwing a pair of pick-sixes to help Detroit turn the tables. “It’s SO good. I was watching the scoreboard in St. Louis, and I didn’t see that they’d lost really until the end, I thought they blew them out so I kind of stopped paying attention. It’s amazing, AMAZING to watch him choke like that. “I’m just saying, I’m up 24 points in the third quarter, if I’m the head coach, I feel like I could probably just take a knee for the rest of the game, punt it away and there’s no way that Detroit’s gonna drive on you that many times,†Cooley continued. “The only way you’re gonna give up that many points is turnovers, right? It’s hilarious to watch him throw pick sixes, too, back-to-back. I loved it.†Cooley then went on to talk about how he would fare in a cage-fight against Romo, apparently a reference to a past segment the Redskins tight end had done on the show: “Obviously it’s been a while, but I didn’t like to beat people fast. I like to embarrass ‘em a little bit. Like, take a 24-point lead, and then just play with it a little bit.†Source: SI.com
Lmao got to love rivalries. I don't see anything wrong with what he said. Romo is a division enemy and right now the Skins are on top of that weak ads division so let him have his fun because midway through the season when Grossman has his meltdown the show will be on the other foot.
I don't anything wrong either but correct me. If I'm wrong. But a half assed cowboys offense beat yall Sent from my HTC EVO using Tapatalk
Well, I don't know who's going to win the NFC East this year, but it won't be the Redskins. Not with Rex as QB.
