    QB: A

He didn't dazzle like in 2007, but Romo had by far his most effective year this year, and for the first time played much better down the stretch. 5 of his last 6 games he had a rating over 100

    RB: B+

Would have been a A if Barber had a better stretch run and/or Choice was more involved down the stretch. Jones quietly had a solid year, I'm starting to think he can be an every down back. Wasn't as flashy as he was as a rook, but got the job done at 6 yards a clip. Cricket was the unspoken hero.Had an outstanding year as a lead blocker

    WR: C-

May seem harsh, but after Austin, who himself save this unit from an F, Ive been very underwhelmed by this group. Roy was lost all year. Crayton had a decent season, but he is just not a game in game out guy. Hurd's still here......right. Ogletree may have some upside. Im starting tot hink we should look at a young talent WR in the first. I feel more talent is needed here

    TE: B

Like Romo, Witten had his best season this year. Not as sexy as 2007 or pre injury 2008. But he made the play's when we needed them more this year than before, and is more a focal point for defense's. Bennett was a letdown, but it was made up for just a tad by some timely John Phillips joints

    OL: B

Played much better than last year. Borderline B to a B-, but gave them a full B because Free looked good at RT, and looks to be a legit prospect to fill Adams LT spot next year. Adams is on his last leg IMO. Top of the pack in rushing yards per carry, middle of the pack in sacks.

    DL:B+

Top 5 in rushing defense, top 10 in yards per attempt. 6 contributors, even Savaii. Rat was Rat, Spears had his best year, Igor was better against the run than Canty ever was. Bowen also had an outstanding year off the bench. I compare him to an energy guy in hoops

    OLB: B-

I cant overlook the early season struggles. Spencer didnt register a sack for the first 11 games, and that hurt Ware as well. However Spencer has been one of the NFL best defensive players over the last 6 games which makes up for it. Victor Butler had a few big sacks, but he disappeared. I do think he has a bright future

    ILB: B+

James had a more subdued year this year but he was damn effective. Brooking was something this team needed, and played like a lunatic. Carpenter wasn't terrible as the NLB, but he wasn't inspiring either

    CB: B-

Jenkins showed that he is a future star in the NFL. However Newman appears to be losing steam. He can still play at a high level, but he has been inconsistent. Scandrick struggled a bit this year, but its been up and down, and not terrible like some suggest. Thats to be expected of a young CB stepping into a new role. Ball is a cat thats growing on me. Didn't wow anyone at FS, but held up, and is an effective CB. A player that can be effective at both those spots is a valuable asset......Roster flexability gentleman. Alan Ball's let you keep that talented but raw WR/DL or Pass Rusher you otherwise would have tocut

    Safety B -

Sensibaugh proved to be the perfect SS for this team. A SS with good man coverage skills, and a huge reason we have been stingy with the big play. Hamlin realllllllly struggled before getting hurt, but oddly enough was solid after returning......weird. Ball was uninspiring but wasnt a liability either. Every once in a while I see that huge freaking neck of Pat Watkins......that really all I can say about him on defense right now

    ST: B

    FG/PAT = : (
    Kickoff/coverage = : )
    Kick return = : I
    Punt Return = : ]
    Punting/coverage = : )

Just a couple comments for now on this year. I think the cornerbacks deserve a better grade, Safeties more like a C rating even though they did hold up quite well and weren't a weakness. The TE grade seems far and let me add that Martellus Bennett was complete trash this year, he needs to really put in alot of work come offseason to hold Phillips off from stealing his job. We did get rid of a previous Tight End named Fasano quite quickly despite his contributions to the team and Bennett hasn't contributed crap. He needs to cut this martyb crap out it's a cool offseason thing but until he does something on the field he should shut up to be perfectly blunt. I'm not ready to give up on the guy and still have high hopes for him it was just a pain in the butt this year dealing with his drops even though they never really came at key times, he'd be thrown at like 2 times in a game and he drops 1 of them. Production wise the defense was piss poor in the first half but they came together in the second half, I wasn't ready to give up on the guys. Took some time for them to gel but they look like a rock solid bunch on O and D. However, one thing that concerns me was the penalties against the Eagles I thought we had stop taken them for good but they were a problem on offense today/yesterday like they'd been a problem in the first 10 games. A major problem if you ask me, hopefully we don't see the penalties in the playoffs.

    Good stuff Roy

If MartyB can actually focus on football and not the Black Olympic's he can be a serious weapon......but if not, oh well, we did fibne without him

The CB's Ilike the group alot, but they are young minus T New and I kinda see them like the Shepard/Brown pairing when they were young. Great when the front gets pressure, when they dont they can be exploited. This will change as Jenkins and Scan grow. Scan has gotten alot of heat, but people forget he went from being a fill in/part time dime CB, to a NB which is basically a starter. You gotta give him some time to grow into that.

Safety's, I bumped them a bit because of Hamlins play late inthe season. Looking at the grade, it should probably be a B- (up froma C+), and Im gonna change that

Great grades. I just hope the Cowboys start Ogletree over Roy Williams. Williams is just bad.

wont go in super depth lik JJ here

    but

QB A Romo held the ball and didnt really get all crazy and force the ball....he used his legs alot more and seemed to playing relaxed

WR B for what everyone was worried about including me they did pretty good only if RW could play like he did lat week al yr long

RB B- i just think that they have much more potentail than what they showed MBIII we know what we have and have seen glimpses of what FJ and TC can do but i think they could be used better

TE A witten is wtten dude is clutch as always

O line A Romo wasnt looking at the sky too much this yr and they opened some good holes for the RB

D ill grade this togather bc they all affect each other if the lone doesnt pressure than the cb could be burned the LB did pretty good in the middle and rushing from the sides. there times when they gave up too many 3rd downs but seems that that was fixed they get an A

ST A bueler was great nick folk sucked it for some reason
