Saints rookie safety Kenny Vaccaro isn't backing from anyone during his first NFL training camp, Mike Gegenheimer of the New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.

During team drills Tuesday, Vaccaro wrestled with tight end Jimmy Graham for a ball. After the play, Vaccaro threw the ball at the back of Graham's head, to which Graham responded by walking back to the rookie before another teammate broke up the altercation before anything happened.

"We actually both had our hands on the ball and I was just trying to get it from him and at the end I kind of flicked it and it hit Jimmy in the head and he turned back and it almost turned into a brawl," Vaccaro said. "We're both cool. We understand sometimes things get a little heated."

Vaccaro hasn't been shy about getting physical during his first training camp.

"Everybody loves it," Vaccaro said. "Everybody keeps bumping me like keep doing your thing and keep balling.

"Everybody is watching and everybody sees. Real recognize real."

Guess that's one way to earn respect, by disrespecting the vets. Good Job!

Physical on the field, one thing. Throwing balls at the back of people's head? C'mon, man!
