"The Mariners are preparing to start the regular season in Oakland on April 5 without the former American League Cy Young winner, acquired from the Phillies for three players in December." Seattle's Lee still feels pain playing catch | MLB.com: News
That sucks for Lee. I hope it doesn't turn out to be anything but a minor setback. While I want Halladay to have a better year than him due to the trade, I've got nothing but love for Cliff.
Me too. I was a little disappointed to read this but at the same time sort of thought 'phew, not on our payroll'
Mariners probably made the most noise in the offseason and they aren't going to do any better in the AL West this year.
PE08 - why would you you assume i was talking to you ? did i quote you ? i said it because some fans are pointing and saying see what would've happened if we kept him.
woahhhh! Back off... I didn't know who you were referring to that's why I asked 'who assumed this?' Not sure what your issue is with me lately but cool off.
Phillies are definitely happy that they made the deal. Although, Lee has had these type of injuries and has always bounced back from what I read somewhere. So, the Ms will hopefully be fine.
wth are you talking about ? can't a poster disagree or debate with you without there being an issue ?
That's not the point, she never meant for there to be a debate. She just asked a simple question. It just looks like you took it a bit out of context.
Yeah, I know, wasn't paying attention. My apologies, miss PE08! As for the main point. so you're wondering why someone has to have an issue with you when you try to argue about something, when there was nothing to really even argue about? I think that's the issue in itself........ Unless you two have some bad blood from further back that I don't know about. And what I didn't realize was the date this was going on, I wouldn't have posted in the first place if I knew it was that far back.
