There was a report that the Buccaneers want to trade up to No. 1 to get Ndamukong Suh, but Lions beat reporter Tom Kowalski is not buying it and gives some solid reasons as to why. He can't see a team moving up to No. 1 - giving up draft picks to spend even MORE money on a player - unless it was a quarterback and secondly, none of the NFL teams have their draft boards set yet. Nobody's even seen the medical report on Suh yet and he doubts that the Buccaneers are already thinking of trade proposals for the No. 1 pick without a thorough evaluation of Suh first. "If you ever want to have any long-term planning, any long-term winning, it starts with the quarterback," Bucs GM Mark Dominik said.

TECHNICALLY if they trade their 2nd round pick they should actually SAVE some money because they only get two players instead of three (2 2nd round picks)
