Ryan Madson agent Scott Boras, Ruben Amaro Jr. of Philadelphia Phillies differ on details - ESPN boras is a lying weasel. there was a three year deal offered by the phillies. boras decided to leak a story that it's was 4yrs and the phillies front office (from higher up than amaro) said heck this POS we're not dealing with him. i wish madson luck, would've been great to see him stay but his agent is scumbag.
Boras is such a virus. He has landed some incrediable deals but he totally blew this one & Madson has to settle for a 1 yr contract. I was hoping he would be back...tough break.
