The Jacksonville Jaguars have been rounding out their coaching staff, now adding a special teams coordinator to go with their new offensive and defensive coordinator. The Jaguars have hired New Orleans Saints assistant special teams coordinator Mike Mallory as their new special teams coordinator, according to a report by Ryan O'Halloran of The Florida Times-Union.

Mallory was a starting linebacker for the Michigan Wolverines in college, earning the team's MVP award in 1984 and was a finalist for the Butkus Award in 1985. Prior to spending the 2008 through 2012 seasons with the Saints, Mallory had extensive coaching experience in the college ranks at defensive coordinator and linebacker coaching positions.
