New Orleans Saints defensive tackle Anthony Hargrove has been named the NFC defensive player of the week for Week 9 of the NFL season. Hargrove helped keep the Saints undefeated by recording two fumble recoveries, one of which he forced and returned for a touchdown, in New Orleans' 30-20 win over the Panthers. He also finished with three tackles, but his signature moment came late in the contest, when he forced a fumble and returned it a yard for a touchdown to seal the victory. Source: The Sports Network
