The Saints have agreed to a two-year contract extension with LB Scott Shanle. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the deal is for a total of $4 million. Shanle, who is set to enter his 10th season in the league, has been with the Saints since 2006. Last season he started 14 games, registering 76 tackles, good enough for third-best on the team. New Orleans drafted LB Martez Wilson in the third round of the draft in April, but it is expected Shanle will remain in the starting lineup. Source: Pro Football Weekly
