Saints OT Jermon Bushrod Hasn't Shown Much Improvement

  1. A Saints observer said the offensive line's performance, particularly its run blocking, was one of the more disappointing aspects of the team's first half. Jermon Bushrod, now in his second season as a full-time starter, hasn't shown much improvement in 2010, and he's still trying to prove he can be a long-term answer at left tackle.

The whole first half was..up and down. Granted, the loss to Cleveland - despite it being a blow out - doesn't look AS BAD now. But. The loss to Arizona? Two Rookie QBs have beat them. The let down against Atlanta. Those three losses are it. They could very well be sitting 7-2. Or even 5-4. So, the first half had its questions - but, hopefully the bye week helps. They should get some healthy players back into the mix, and well - we will see. If they can get that offense going, they're going to give Atlanta a hard time winning the NFC South.

can't really say the Browns game was a blowout. They beat us by the 2 int returns by Brees. Defense held them pretty well. The whole team is flat. Except for the defense that is. They are playing lights out. GW has them playing great. The offense is stagnant and I don't think it is all on Bush and Thomas being out.
