New Orleans Saints owner Tom Benson spent Tuesday morning discussing his team's embattled offseason with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell in a meeting, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN who cites league sources. Benson wanted to address the manner in which his team has been treated for its role in an alleged bounty program, at a time when a Louisiana judge is waiting to rule on linebacker Jonathan Vilma's lawsuit against the league, the sources said. What came out of the meeting is uncertain, but it now has wrapped up, one source confirmed. Source: The Redzone
