Saints QB Drew Bress Says Contract Extension "Not On My Radar"

  1. In the wake of Washington Redskins quarterback Donovan McNabb's recent contract extension, New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees was asked about his own situation. Brees is under contract through the 2011 season, though the threat of a labor dispute between the owners and players could complicate things after this season. "It's not an issue during the season," Brees said. "It's not on my radar. I'm just thinking about winning games. But obviously when the time comes, we'll definitely be talking."

Throw fewer picks, THEN ask for money. That Brees is a smart one.

He will get his extension. They won't let him out of NOLA. He already said he wants to play for Payton. They've done great things for New Orleans. He will get his extension.
