Saints RB Darren Sproles Leaves Game After Suffering Head Injury

Saints running back Darren Sproles was taken to the locker room for a potential concussion early in New Orleans' game against the Jets.

If Sproles does in fact have a concussion, Pierre Thomas will be counted on to fill the receiver-at-running back role.

SteveRobWhatever's Take: The Saints are way more dangerous when Sproles is in there. He brings a dynamic that few can out of the backfield. You hope he can come back, especially against a Jets squad that is trying to make a game of it.

 

If he misses a lot of time, that;s going to be a big blow to the Saints Offense.

 

Saints were out of sorts today on offense. His loss was felt big-time.

 

The AFC East seems to be destroying the NFC South this season.
