New Orleans Saints Coach Sean Payton delivered his final injury report Friday prior to Sunday's game with the Arizona Cardinals and while it contained few surprises Payton confirmed running back Pierre Thomas will not be active. Thomas, who suffered an ankle sprain late in the game against Atlanta, has not practiced the past two weeks. While he said his ankle is noticably better, he has not yet run hard on it and his exercises on it thus far have been only on a treadmill or underwater. Were Sunday a playoff game Thomas said he would try to play, but the smart move now is for him to hold off and prepare for Tampa Bay. Payton said safety Roman Harper (hamstring), defensive end Will Smith (groin), and safety Pierson Prioleau are all questionable.
