Rookie safety Chip Vaughn is also scheduled to go under the knife today. He'll have arthroscopic surgery to repair some torn meniscus in his left knee. Depending on the extent of the repair, Vaughn should be able to return before the start of the season, but Coach Sean Payton said he'll know more after he gets the doctors' report.

Even though I am not a Saints fan this was one guy going into the draft that I wanted to see how he will turn out. He was a good SS but was thought to be slow, that is until he was timed and but up some very nice numbers.
