The Saints have signed former Browns tight end Ben Watson to a three-year contract according to NewOrleansSaints.com. Financial terms of the deal are not yet available. The 32-year-old Watson appeared in 45 games with 41 starts for the Cleveland Browns from 2010-12. Originally a first round draft choice (32nd overall) of the New England Patriots in 2004, Watson has career totals in nine NFL seasons of 116 appearances with 88 starts and 321 receptions for 3,776 yards (11.8 avg.) with 28 touchdowns. Watson will likely see less playing time with the Saints but should prove to be a very capable backup behind star tight end Jimmy Graham. Source: The Redzone
