The New Orleans Saints continue to wait on a decision by free agent Nnamdi Asomugha. If the cornerback chooses the San Francisco 49ers, a play for free-agent defensive end Dwight Freeney could be next. That according to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport, who rightly points out the Saints still are attempting to improve the pass-rush of their league-worst defense. Freeney has been linked to the Denver Broncos, who had the longtime teammate of Peyton Manning in for a visit last week. Rapoport wrote on Twitter that he hasn't heard "much traction" on Freeney and the Broncos, though Denver might just be exploring all of its options after losing Elvis Dumervil to the Baltimore Ravens.
