Saints Trade RB Chris Ivory To Jets For Fourth-Round Pick

    The New York Jets acquired running back Chris Ivory from the New Orleans Saints for a fourth-round draft pick.

    The selection, No. 106 overall, will come Saturday.

    Ivory played in six games last season and had 40 rushes for 217 yards with a pair of touchdowns. Over 24 NFL games spanning three seasons, he has rushed for 1,307 yards on 256 carries and eight touchdowns.

    Nice move by the Jets. Saints needed to let go of one of their runningbacks eventually and a 4th for Ivory is good value.

    man I hate to see him go...but like was said, saints are log jammed at RB. If anyone has never seen him run...youtube ASAP...mean ass, angry runner.

    If anyone can deal with it he can. I wished we would have traded another back but I understand the reasoning. His pass blocking is nil and not a real good pass catcher. Good luck Ivory.
