49ers 28-20. I really think the Saints are a different offense on the road on grbutt. The mismatches they had vs the Lions won't be there vs the Niners D. The key will be the 49ers offense. They can't settle for field goals this week.

I remember the Steelers being favored against the Niners on MNF, following an impressive win for them and a 49ers loss to ARZ. The Steelers, like the Saints, are not the same on the road.

I like the Saints in this one. The niners offense can't keep up with the Saints, whether the Saints "aren't the same" or not.

Yea the Saints make me more nervous than any other team. Brees would probably throw for over 500 against the Pats.

it's interesting to me that the 2 most vaunted offenses in the nfc are matched up against probably the 2 hottest defenses in the nfc this week.

for people who like to see strong offenses matched up against strong defenses, this is your week.

most people are assuming the saints are going to take this game and, granted, if both teams play their 'A' game, the Saints are the better team.

However, I'm not sold that this is an 'easy' game to pick. I can see a lot of scenarios where the niners take this game.

If I had to bet, I would say the Saints have a better chance of winning it than the niners do, but it is not a slam dunk by any means.

 

This is the major test for the Saints. Traveling to the West Coast and not playing at home where they are almost unstoppable. If they win this game, they are my pick for the NFC Super Bowl team.

 

not saying it's going to be an easy game but i think the difference is going to be the 49ers play to not lose and the saints play to win.
