Cornerback Marcus Trufant is active for Sunday's game after he was listed as questionable because of a sore back. Trufant has been Seattle's nickel back this season, coming onto the field in formations that call for five defensive backs. Byron Maxwell and Danny Gorrer practiced at that spot on Wednesday and Thursday when Trufant was sitting out because of the back. Gorrer is inactive. The Panthers have three starters who are inactive for Sunday's game: LB Jon Beason, CB Chris Gamble and OL Geoff Hangartner. The rest of the inactives: G John Moffitt, DT Jaye Howard, CB Jeremy Lane, SS Winston Guy, CB Danny Gorrer, WR Charly Martin and DE Greg Scruggs. Source: Seattle Times
